The paper examined strategies for effective and efficient teaching of learning disabled children in regular schools. It provided a comprehensive definition of learning disabilities as a condition in children and described the causes of learning disabilities. The paper also described the characteristics of learning disabled, strategies to be used in teaching them and offers ways of developing handwriting, mathematical and other skills in children with learning disabilities. Similarly, the paper focused structural lesson presentation to be applied by teachers and finally offered recommendations to classroom teachers.
